1.Do you have an independent valuation of Seachange Lodge?

There are good French and English schools available in Port Vila. Some expat children then go out to Australia or New Zealand for higher education if required (just three hours by plane from Vanuatu).

2.Is Seachange Lodge on freehold land?

Land in Vanuatu is leasehold land that runs for 75 years. Leases are rolled over, or for a modest fee you can renew the lease early.

3. How do I know there are no encumrances on the property?

The local bank that deals with the property has stated that the current owners have met all financial requirements and approved the raffle. All legalities will be completed prior to the hand over of the property, just the same as if it was a real estate sale.

4. When will the property be transferred to the new owners?

Once the winner of the Win a Resort Blue Moon Opportunity has been declared and all relevant paper work validated for YouMe Support Foundation, the winner will use the two return tickets to visit Vanuatu and inspect Seachange Lodge Resort. As soon as the new owners have passed the Vanuatu Investment Promotion Authority approval regime and all legal documentation has been approved by government authorities, hand over will be immediate, through YouMe Support Foundation.

5. Can foreigners own land in Vanuatu and are any visas needed?

Foreigners can own property in Vanuatu. They enter Vanuatu as an Investor. Once the winner has been established, the legalities will include applying for an investor permit. After all you have invested $125 to own Seachange Lodge.

6. Are land values on the rise in Vanuatu?

1.If we win can our children be educated in Vanuatu?

2.How large an expat population is there in Vanuatu?

Around 3000. A mixture of mainly Australian, New Zealand and French. Cuisine in Vanuatu is exceptional.

3. Do I need to speak any languages other than English?

The main languages here are English, French and the local Bislama. You can survive on English only, and Bislama is not a hard language to pick up. Sometimes we have guests from New Caledonia, who are predominantly French speaking. Several of the staff of Seachange Lodge speak all three languages.

4. What is the future of tourism in Vanuatu?

Tourism is the top earning and fastest growing sector in the Vanuatu economy. There are strong moves afoot to strengthen it and carry it forward. Friendly people, pristine wildernesses, live volcanoes, all make Vanuatu's tropical islands the 'Must See' adventure travel destination of the South Pacific.

It is estimated that tourism in the South Pacific is estimated to earn $US2billion in the year 2009. This is a very achievable target, having earned $1.5 billion in 2007. 5. How do I know this is not a scam?

All funds are handled by an internationally recognized accounting firm and no private individual, or organization may have access to the funds. Local legal and government requirements have been fully complied with and licenses purchased. The current owners will only receive market value for the property, after the winner has been declared to the Seachange Lodge Win a Resort Blue Mooon Opportunity Draw. 7. Won't the raffle make a lot of money?

Yes it will. That is the point of the whole exercise. To raise money to give non-repayable high school education grants to children who will never have the opportunity to gain a high school education.

Only market value will be paid for Seachange Lodge. All other money is placed in the YouMe Support Foundation, and Child Trust Fund. It is intended to expand the program far beyond the limitations of Vanuatu.

Anyone who objects to the 99,999 tickets has only to do their homework to see the figures work out correctly. Based on a vibrant affiliate program, up to 50% of the cost goes to the affiliates and associated bank and credit card charges. Very little has been allowed for administration costs of YouMe Support Foundation. Apart from that, someone will win Seachange Lodge Resort, a prime piece of real estate, for only $US125.
